Jim Crosby has a criminal justice background and worked 12 years with the Tri County Gang Task Force in Lansing as a private detective and bounty hunter, specialized in child abuse and youth violence.

After working on a part time basis his entire life, he joined the family’s mint farm operations full time in 1991 and started Mint Grove Inc., diversifying products from the Crosby Mint Farm.

The Crosby Mint Farm is the oldest, continuously family operated mint farm in the United States of America. Jim Crosby is considered to be an artisan distiller and an expert in the many different uses of mint oil; for daily, personal, household, and medicinal uses after researching this for over 25 years.

With his lectures he has traveled throughout the country, educating about mint and self sustainability, inspiring and motivating thousands of people to believe in themselves, embrace their passion and to expect miracles. His intent is helping people to become individually self sustainable through education and creativity.
