Peppermint Jim and Events
Informative, inspirational and empowering.
With 25 years of researching the many medicinal and everyday uses of mint oil, Peppermint Jim lives up to his nickname. Growing up on the oldest, continuously family operated and producing mint farm in the country, he is an expert on the distillation process and essential oil extraction, as well as the benefits of daily usage of the mint oil. His lectures are hard to categorize; from informational to motivational, he has reached out to many different crowds. Jim has given lectures to herbal societies, schools, colleges and universities, agricultural conferences, (raw) food groups, community groups, garden clubs, as well as interviews for radio, television, newspapers and magazines. Self sustainability, perseverance and self education are just a few of the topics he speaks about on top of:
- History of mint in the US
- Growing and distillation of mint
- Medicinal and personal uses of spearmint and peppermint oil
- Sustainability through the use of mint and education
- Farm Foreclosure
- Self motivation and pursuing life goals
Jim is also known as a great storyteller, has played native flute for seven years and offers this at the end of some of his lectures.
